The Pulsar, pulse-burst
through-air radar level measuring system uses microwaves and Time Domain Reflectometry to gauge level in difficult applications such as wet
wells, chemical tanks, scum pits and even digester level. It is is
two-wire transmitter with HART capability and connects easily through a
HART modem to any PC running Pactware. Pactware is a third-party
software package supported by many instrument manufacturers that is used
for configuration and trouble-shooting.
The TA2 is a thermal dispersion
mass flow meter that uses two RTD elements (one is heated) to measure
the mass flow of gasses in a pipe. Sensitivity to low flow rates
and ease of installation are two good reasons for considering this meter
to measure the flow of air, natural gas and even digester gas.
